With the idea of new lobby furniture and carpet, please keep in mind that some of the residents of Watergate, or their visitors, have sticky fingers as there have been missing clothes from laundry rooms, storage rooms, and/or other areas. Although, it is thankfully a sporadic problem, it is one worthy thinking about when updating the lobbies. Therefore, I would recommend that all lobby furniture be heavy enough to make it difficult to steal or to secure the lobby furniture in someway. If a nice expensive small rug is being considered to go with the furniture, I'd recommend against it as it could be easily taken out of the lobby. I don't like to sound like people have the worst intentions, but without security/attendant at each lobby, a very small select few can create costly problem for all of us that simple want a nice, well designed home to return to every day/night.
Simply something to consider.
