Please accept our condolences. I know that words can do little now to help how you are feeling. We lost our daughter one month ago. She was also waiting for a double lung transplant. She was 7 years old.
I was so surprised to see where the funeral will be held. We also live in West Rogers Park. I wish I had known Sherry earlier. We had been on the same email list for some time, and I had no idea we were in the same neighborhood.
Our faith and our community have helped us tremendously in the last month. I hope yours will as well. If we can do anything for you, please let us know. Even if it is just talking to someone who has been in a similar situation.
