Biotech stocks closed up the month ending 8/30/2024. The BioBizNet Select Index (BBNSI comprised of A through RVTY) increased 9.93% for the month while the iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology ETF (IBB) added 0.14%. However, AZN, LLY, MRK, NVO and REGN, individual stocks in the BioBizNet Select Index basket of stocks soared gaining between 4.70% and 19.53% for the month.
