I have been weight lifting and running to stay in shape most of my life, football from grade school through highschool, self training, etc. When I do workout I do workout very hard, because, you see, I have a newborn baby and I don't know when I'll be able to get back into the gym. 5:00am, the alarm goes off, I take my bioastin astaxanthin, pre workout shake and I'm off. 20-30 cardio, 20 minute ab routine, solid 1-1 1/2 full body weightlifting. The days I take my astaxanthin, I know I can workout really hard because my recovery time is DRAMATICALLY reduced. Normally, no astaxanthin, at least 3-4 days of soreness and recovery time. With astaxanthin, 1 day, 2 at the most of soreness!!! The free radicals and toxins are washed from my body and I feel stronger, and healthier. Also, growing up I used to do all sorts of sports besides football. We had a trampoline, I skateboarded, surfed, snowboarded, played soccer, basketball, baseball, a little bit of everything. Due to these activities, I've had many recurring injuries, (sprained both ankles about 5 or 6 times each, neck injuries, back injuries, torn AC joint in my shoulder, just kind of a mess.
