Gary and Louis, here is the recipe that we discussed today.
Blackberry Wine Cake
1(18.5 oz) box white Cake mix
3 oz. box berry gelatin
1/2 c. oil
1 c. blackberry wine (Or Ember Lo)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Grease and flour bundt pan and sprinke nuts in the bottom. In a large bowl stir together cake mix and gelatin; add eggs, oil and wine. Pour into bundt pan and bake 50-60 min at 375 degrees.
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. blackberry wine
Bring to a boil and pour half over warm toothpicked cake. Let rest 30 min and pour last half over cake.
Note: you may use a variety of wines along with different Jello's to make your unique flavor. Example try using the Ember Lo with Strawberry-Banana jell-o.
