I've been to the Hart mansion at least once that I can remember. I was young, so the impact of the history didn't reach me at the time.
My father passed this website along to me when I was doing some internet research on Arch Hart. I've been to our family plot many times in Colma and seen his name there. (My grandfather, Bruce Hart, as well as my Uncle, Jefferson Hart, are there too now.)
I just have to say thank you. Thank you for compiling such a wonderful collection of my family's history. I've read about people I have never heard of, but am sure that they are family, based on their actions! I see my father in many of the men described.
The Harts are still firmly fixed in the Bay Area, and are quite proud of it. I will try to make it down from Berkeley to Pacific Grove sometime soon! I'd love to see this place again, now that I am an adult. |
