Rock on, brother!
Every weekend during the summer my wife and I drive out to the Fire Island Seashore, and as we pass by the Jones Beach Theatre I look at it and say "That is one nice venue, sittin' on the water like that. I'd love to see a show there sometime... Hon, did I ever tell you about the time I saw Jeff Beck in London, and Jimmy Page came onstage for an encore and they did Johnny B. Goode together...?" My wife of course says "Yes, you did tell me about yadayadayada, you Nerd. Now please pay attention and keep your eyes on the road." Then I go, "Hon, how about the time we were playing Yorktown, and it was near the end of the game, and Kenny DaRos hit that guy, and..." My poor wife. |
