Hey Buddy
Yes I miss you too..
Last night as Daddy took first place in the first race of the season we spoke about the void that we feel. Of course he would want to share this victory with all 3 of you.
This morning on Mother's Day my heart is ripped and breathing becomes a conscious decision.
I will come to the cemetery and be with you.
This year it feels important to simply say Thank you.
To you and Heather and Ali, for allowing me to be your Mom.
I could not be prouder of who each one of you are.
And I know how proud you would be of Heather and Ali.
They are the most remarkable and inspiring people I know.
We have all learned so much from you. In your life and in your death you continue to teach us.
For me one reminder is about keeping it real.
What is really important??
I will spend some time with Max, my chance to be a grandmother, how cool.
And as I watch Max sometimes I see behaviors and mannerisms that take me right back.
To being a young Mom with 3 of the most wonderful kids in the world.
All these years later I am still the luckiest Mom in the
world!!!
I love you Heather , Ali and Michael!!!
