Someone once asked me a long time ago, what wine went best with barbecue, and I replied either beer or Southern sweet iced-tea.
If you like wine with barbecue though, the best choice is an old vines Zinfandel for those who enjoy a robust wine
with their barbecue. For wine drinkers who want something more refreshing with the hot sauces, I suggest a slightly chilled Beaujolais.
