I'm trying to find out about a DC-3 operated by the Royal Air Force which crashed on/around 7th April 1945 killing 7 (2 x crew, 5 passengers) on the North West Frontier of India (now Pakistan). Flight from Peshawar to Lahore. Crash location was Gamsala, Jhangi Jumma. The crew were:
WO Peter Watson RAF - 233 Group
Flt Sgt Alexander Robertson - 62 Sqn
I've contact the RAF historical section who unfortunately had no record of the accident. I believe the loss was a crash and not due to enemy action. Would there be a crash report?
