I can answer that, as owing at the Luxxe and now staying in the bliss.
The overall, answer is luxury. While I am sure the Grand Bliss is a lot better than the Mayan or Grand Mayan - it is no conparision to LUXXE.
Room space alone is a big difference.
Luxxe - towels are at the pool - GB you get towel cards
Luxxe - amenities included (soap, bubble bath, etc) - GB yhe initial is free then your charged for refills.
No coffee servie - and while you can pay for coffee in the room at the luxxe - this isnt available in the GB.
No personal butler, conceirge - and many of the new staff dont realize the importance of being a Luxxe Owner downgraded to the GB - or what an A, B, or C profile is...
I do like the patio bed/couch at the GB compared to the hammocks at the Luxxe - but that is about it. If you can afford the difference, its well worth the cost. |
