Just got back from a 2 1/2 week stay at the Luxxe in NV. Our first week was in the GM but they found a Junior Villa in building 2 on wednesday.
1) We will be staying for 7 weeks starting in Feb and the Luxxe will be much more comfortable than the GM for extended stays.
2) For two people the JV is fine as is building 2. Bring a few small plastic bowls and a few knifes and forks etc. as they are not provided.
3) I think it is wrong when you upgrade from the GM to the GL but the water in the larger GL pool is not heated a bit as it is in the GM pools. They need to fix that!
4) Service around the GL pool is not equal to the GM where all things come faster, especially the drinks.
5) For the most part the staff was very nice. Decided to checkout the night before and the man who did that tried to persuade me that the bill after the 10% discount should be higher that before the discount was taken. He was more interested in punching his keyboard and giving me BS than using his head. He finally saw the light.
6) 15 holes open and golf was fun and the new holes are just fine!
All in all we are very happy with our purchase, the grounds are awesome and the units are great and the people are fine!What a great place to run away to from the snow of Western NY!
