Actually, the Grand Bliss in NV is a stand alone building that is located between the Grand Mayan and the Mayan Palace (we are staying there as I write this). It opened for occupancy on 11/19/10. The rooms are a little larger than the GM units with nicer furnishings and better owner benefits. The building isn't fully completed at this point, as there is a planned restaurant that hasn't opened yet, and the pool and outdoor amenities aren't in place yet.
We were told that the sales floor will be moved from the current location in the GM to the 2nd floor of the GB building. In addition, the models for the Grand Luxxe & Grand Bliss will be moved from their current location near the beach and will be located on the extended top floor of the GB Building, and a new pool for the Grand Bliss will then be constructed in their place.
We just completed our "Owner's Update" yesterday, and the sales rep confirmed they are no longer selling the "Bliss" brand. He mentioned that they are working with the small number of current Bliss owners to come up with a solution that will best meet their needs (I'm not sure what that means at this point). As far as the Grand Mayan brand - we were told they are no longer "actively marketing" Grand Mayan, however they are still selling them and will still offer upgrades into that level for current SG, MP and Bliss owners.
