Dear Tedd,
Thank you again for inviting me to speak at the 5t International Wine & Heart Health Summit in Walla Walla. The program was great, the venue was charming, and the wines were superb. Your meeting is consistently the best of the (too) infrequent Wine-Health conferences. It has just the right balance of scientific presentations and wine appreciation/enjoyment activities.
It seems obvious that the meeting is a labor of love for you. I can relate to the situation, from the experience of many years of full-time practice with simultaneous expenditure of thousands of hours sifting through data output and writing articles. Eileen can testify about the effect on my “spare time”.
I hope that the Summits will continue and, with some hubris for one approaching his 80th birthday, that I will be part of them.
