I would like to see changes surrounding the protocol in which insurance companies are requiring physicians to follow. Insurance companies are requiring physicians to complete medical tests for a patients symptom in such a strict manner rather than allowing a physician to make the detemination of what test needs to be completed. In some cases, months go by. By the time a specific test is completed that allows a physician to make a diagnosis, cancer as an example, can spread rather quickly. |
