Well, as they say day one is in the books. What a great start to reunion weekend. Hats off to the reunion committee and a special thanks to Cathy James Drumm and Chuck for sharing there lovely home with all of us. Many Many highlights for me and were only starting with the big bash tonight.
We have aged well. As Max Gruber said'"Our Class looks much better , much healthier than you normal Walmart crowd." And that is so true. If you observe modern America, you see that we are getting bigger and bigger by the day. Hats off to the class of 69 for being way below average on the fatty scale. Now, not all of us are super trim, but over all nice job and of course some of you were in great shape. I will not mention too many by name because then you will know who I was really checking out, mayby after tonight.
I got yelled at when I got home because I had a ring of cherries around my mouth. They were very good, as was all the food. It was great to see you all and for those who did not come and if by chance you see this come tonight. The Beach, as it is known to members as, is a very special place. A place that we as kids did not know about, but wish we had. If were lucky, there will be a sunset and the band is hot and there is love in the air and a couple reconects or a longtime fantasy is fulfilled and WOW!! Now if someone has the guts to write that story, good for them.
Finally for now, I was happy to see at least from my observation, that the talk was not centered on what you do and how much$$ you have or had. That was cool.
IF YOU ARE A CLASSMATE AND READ THIS COME TONIGHT.EVERYONE WILL LOVE AND ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE AND NOT CARE WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE OR WHAT YOU DO OR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE. Friends old and new are a precious commodity. And if not tonight than plan for 2019. Nobody had a bad time last night. Everybody will be rocking tonight and special memories made and special memories shared.
