Well, here it is two months after our gathering and I wonder what everybody is up to? I am sure most have gone back to their daily routine, but some have given some thought to where they were and what they want to do. Randy Perry is one of those.
It is 9/11 and hard to believe it is 8 years since the biggest tradgedy in our lifetime. What are you thinking today? What are your feelings on how the world is today? I thinks that most have just got on with there life and are no longer affected by the past. But what about New Yorkers?
Well, I have plunged into being a daily subscriber of the NY Times. I am not sure if I am smart enough to read it, but do enjoy keeping up on what is going on in the world and the NYC scene. If there is anybody out there who has not visited NYC for at least three days do not delay that part of your mission. Anyway, that is what I think of on 9/11, how is NYC doing? And I think O.K.
I took my oldest daughter to college three weeks ago and I cannot tell you how happy and excited I am for her. She is going to Miami and just loves it. I also cannot begin to express how much I miss her. I know I am late to the game about this kid in college stuff and mayby that is why my pain is so intense. But we will be there soon and that will be nice.
I have to give a shout out to Becky Schnurr. Now I would never be so bold to tell you all how old she is, besides you would not believe me. Not only is she part of the smartest couple at our reunion but again finished in the top three in dancing quanity. I hope that I can move as well as her when I am her age. Oh Yeah, I just remembered I do not move as well as her now.
Write me if you read this. I am not on facebook yet because my kids say that would be"Creepy" But the reunion this year changed my life forever. Love and Peace
