Well I am late on this as I had promised Stew I would do this a month ago. Greetings from Chicagoland, where the Preakness just ended with a 50 year old jock on the winner. There is hope for all of us. Just Finished my first college graduation for my Colleen. She has reluctantly left Miami and is with us now in Naperthrille and will be starting work Monday. She is one of the lucky ones who graduated on time with no debt and a job. My other daughter is galavanting in Brazil on some supposed consulting gig which i promised her when she entered the hallowed halls of OU. I t cost three time more than i thought, so I am putting out the call to Sandi to get me on the Love donation program.
Going to Ohio in two weeks and Hansen has been nice enough to coordinate the monthly dinner around my schedule, so sweet of her. This monthly dinner has been such a hit since our 40th.. The Karma is always good and if we keep politics to a minimum, then well no matter it is always cool. I especially enjoy seeing Mike Manos, who in spite of being a big shot is even nicer and more humble then high school if that is possible. I also enjoy flirting with all the girls and of course gossiping. Which brings us to the Reunion.
Now there seems to be a little bit of difference of opinion on how this event should go down. Speaking of going down, the music on this site is great. It was brought to my attention in April when visiting Ohio, that there is a camp which just want to rock in Bay City and Cleve. Well I understand that and since all of those people live in Cleve area, pretty convenient. Another team wants to go on vacation and hook up with their classmates in some exotic location. I can certianly understand that. Now choice B involves some serious coin and not sure whether we can use the Love donation program for like a hundred and that means all the rich from our class would be supporting the poor and my god that is socialism. Now since I had my biggest fight of my marriage about some stupid shit at our last reunion, I am never bringing my wife to another and if I could get a hall pass then i would vote for exotic erotica. That is not going to happen nor would I want it to. I am really good with being sober 30 years and faithful for 26. Thus i am on the side of going bowling at Bay Lanes and cruising the Cuyahoga on the Nautica Queen and taking a hike at Huntington which i don't care where you go is one of the coolest beaches ever and in my next life will be like one of the Zannes boys and be a life guard and rock it in the shack. Cause home is home and home is where all reunions should be. If you want to go on vacation with a bunch of people let me know and I will try to make it.
