Job Description:
Scope of Position
This position will lead in the repair and refurbishment of medical devices and support health based missions through medical equipment technical support and provision of therapeutic and diagnostic devices worldwide.
This position requires some international travel.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish medical devices
• Order parts, service manuals, and equipment accessories through the MES order process
• Provide technical advice to partners regarding type, number, etc. of equipment needed
• Ensure quality control throughout the process
• Coordinate volunteer operations for MES Production, crating & equipment inventory needs.
• Assist in the development of department standard policies & procedures
• Work with Sales Team & Partner to set delivery dates
• Assure all MES sales orders are completed & shipment is on track within expected delivery timelines
• Provide back-up support for purchasing/procurement staff
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
• Electronic service training – Biomedical Degree preferred
• Management training and/or experience preferred
• Maintain AAMI accreditation
• Ability to work in a fast paced technical environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (equipment), push/pull carts, etc. Kneel, stand, bend, stoop, reach & climb/descend stairways in equipment production process
• Personal commitment to the mission, vision and faith statement of International Aid
• Other duties as assigned
Hours of Work
This is a full time salary exempt position, 40+ hours per week.
