80's records did tend to end closer to the center, opposed to the older 45's. There is an adjustment for the tone-arm, for pick-up and set down. The back door must be removed. By manually moving the tone-arm, you will see a micro switch for pick-up and an adjustment nearby. A slight adjustment will make a big difference, so go slowly. It's all mechanical, no electronic work. |
