We are trying to decide how "orth it" it is to retrofit a 441 with a new autopilot and RVSM. One of the prospective partners in the airplane is a pro pilot. Based on his experience (which does not include the Conquest II but rather the King Air 200 et al) he questions taking the plane to RVSM altitudes.
The other issue is the AP itself. As a non pro pilot, it is my view that a reliable auto pilot is important. I hear mixed opinions on whether the Sperry is sufficient.
