Is it true the Berkeley County Council is considering a stormwater runoff tax? This is not a good idea, and is not in the purview of the council. Mother Nature makes the rain, taxing the resident's roof area in ADDITION to the already high property taxes adds insult to injury.
TAX the new construction that is making all these fancy new schools necessary, and stop making the long time residents of the area subsidize those who are happier in an urban environment. Thank you for your attention to my opinion.
