Yesterday, The Synapse School held its second Portfolio Day of the Fall 2010 Semester, iInvent. The children performed original works, Shakespeare, read from the Author's Chair and shared their recently-created books, and demonstrated their talent in filmmaking. The school was filled with student-created inventions, inspired by their study of Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance Period. The Public was invited from 3:30 to 5:30 and enjoyed everything the student-hosts had to share with them. The Synapse School is a K-8 Lab school, dedicated to teaching children in a constructivist way and blending emotional intelligence with academic excellence.
