Is anyone else in the neighborhood receiving unusually high water bills? My bill is usually almost 3x higher than my 2 neighbors. Our houses are the same size, and they have more people living in their homes. I don't have a pool. My plumber has told me that I have no leaks. My bill for the last few years has been between $275-$350 with only myself living at home. Last month I received an $1100+ water bill, the second $1100 bill in 4 years. I was not even at home for the first $1100 bill in August, 2011 (I was in Africa). S&W Board came out and adjusted that bill to $700 then. This last $1100 bill was for April 13th-May 8th of this year. My sprinkler system was even turned off during that period because of so much rain. S&W says they are 'investigating' now (they come out and reread the meter). If anyone else in the neighborhood is receiving unusually high water bills or knows any reason why my water bills are high, please let me know. Thank you. |
