Does the phrase "mother of faith" need to be found in the scriptures relating to Eve and her of her absolute faith that the Lord would do as He had told them and "she would be the mother of all living" and from her seed would come the Redeamer?
I think not. For instance...
Our Lord once told his listeners that they ered not knowing the scriptures "for in Heaven there is no marriage nor giving in marriage". I can find no such rule in the writings so must conclude that His chastisement of their error was because they did not extrapolate the information contained in the writings by the fathers into the sure and certain conclustion that marriage is not a part of the heavenly way.
As we study to show ourselves approved and "renew our mind thru the Word" precept upon precept our understanding thus increases. Scriptures that we have read a hundred times then produce expanded meanings for our new nature to consider.
This can be a great study. I believe Grandmother Eve to be the "first with declared faith".
