Will someone please explain to me the difference or advantages between the 1inchx2inch "2GB usb flash drive" and those big external hard drive the size of a small fax machine. I need something I can fit in my safe i.e. cust info...sorry not very good with fancy new technologies!! :(

Also- having a hard time with my NeatReceipt- I fed a regular OfficeMax receipt about 12 inches long and all I view is a blurb about 1x8 inches long and it is putting the value at $0.00
