Just a quick note, if you are shooting jewelry pictures, or small expensive collectibles, I have a small portable photo studio in a box that works GREAT! It's fairly inexpensive $69.95 from Adorama.com (I've purchased alot of equipment from them over the years!)They are a great company, It's collapsable, lightweight and comes with lights, box, and monopod. Just set up your dsiplay piece with jewelry on it, and snap away! By the way, Gems on Display.com has good jewelry displays too!
