The ENEMIES

Psalms 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Psalms 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
The Lord is presently sitting at the right hand of the Father. He is sitting on a throne of grace AS A PRIEST at this time. (Heb.4, 8) He is "awaiting" HIS RULERSHIP as a King, when he RULES in the midst of his enemies. The Father is going to accomplish this task for his Son, for this is the REASON and PURPOSE of his begetting. It is FOR "this day".
This day is the DAY OF CHRIST, which concerns the RULE of the Lord Jesus Christ within the kingdom of God, the HEAVENLY KINGDOM.
Psalms 2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
The holy hill of Zion is NOT on this earth. It is IN THE HEAVENS in Jerusalem, on Mt. Zion, in the SIDES OF THE NORTH. (Heb.12, Ps.48, Isaiah 14)
This is the Lord's king!
Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Hebrews 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
When the day occurs, the FIRST ENEMY which will be put "under his feet" will be SATAN.
Revelations 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Revelations 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Revelations 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelations 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
This will occur at the midst of Daniel's week, when Michael the archangel stands up for the children of Israel. (Dan.12, 1 Thess.4) This is also when the body of Christ is GATHERED unto his heavenly kingdom! They can't be gathered BEFORE the midst because the kingdom of God and power of his Christ DOES NOT COME until the midst, when Satan is cast out! (2 Tim.4)
Satan is dealt with FIRST as his enemy. (Matt.13, Luke 10, Acts 13) He is kicked out of heaven and comes to earth to persecute Israel.
His enemies AMONG Israel are dealt with "during the great tribulation". (Isaiah 66:6) His Jewish enemies who survive the son of perdition are killed at his coming AFTER THE TRIBULATION. (Luke 19)
His Gentile enemies headed up by the BEAST are dealt with at the battle of Armageddon. (Rev. 16, 19, Zech.14, Psalm 37)
The Lord Jesus Christ will destroy his LAST ENEMY, after he had reigned for 1000 years. DEATH! (1 Cor.15)
1 Corinthians 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
The Lord is RULING all during this time, which STARTS at the midst of the week through the millennial period of Jewish FIRST DOMINION.
His kingdom begins IN THE HEAVENS and moves to the EARTH, which encompasses the SPHERE of "his enemies"!
