Joyce,

It is not my intention to sidestep anything. Remember that in Acts 10, the change in administrations, or dispensations, is about to take place, which is the whole purpose for God sending Peter to Cornelius. God showed Peter three times in his vision that he was no longer to call Gentiles unclean. (For your benefit, I will include the scriptural references that you require.) Peter as much as tells Cornelius this very thing in Acts 10:28, that God has shown him that he is to call no man unclean. (If I had not included the scripture, it would not have made this fact any less true.) Look at the same verse (Acts 10:28), and notice at the beginning of the verse that Peter says to Cornelius, "Ye know how that it is an UNLAWFUL THING for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;...."
Now Joyce, why do you suppose that it was UNLAWFUL for a Jew to keep company with a Gentile? It had always been this way. Paul corrected Peter later on, when Peter had been eating with Gentiles, and then when the other apostles came, Peter withdrew from the Gentiles. Paul even accused Peter of being a hypocrite (oh yeah, Gal. 2:11,12). The facts in the scriptures point to the realization that before God began the change in dispensations (administrations, or the way that He administers salvation), He HAD been a respecter of persons. Just because you missed it, does not make it untrue. Peter uttered those words just as soon as Cornelius said to him that he had a vision also, and that God sent for Peter to hear what God commanded (back to Acts 10, now). The scripture reads that Peter opened his mouth, and the words that came out were "I see of a truth that God is no respecter of persons".
How does this apply to the Old Testament? How do you take this statement by Peter; whom God is preparing for the coming of Paul, the dispensation of grace, the Gospel of the Grace of God, and the Body of Christ, and apply it completely out of context, to the Old Testament?

I am sorry to say this, but it seems to me that instead of writing papers, perhaps you should read and study more.
