Can statins cause the same symptons as Morton's Neuroma? Last year, I went from taking Lipitor 3X a week to every day. I began experiencing numbness in the toes and one day I had so much pain in my right foot while at work, that I had to walk on my heel. It became so uncomfortable that I always have to wear tennis shoes in the house at all times. Went to a podiatrist and he said I have Morton's Neuroma. Recently, I began experiencing pain in my left shoulder, right elbow and right knee. (always in the joints) So, I went back to taking Lipitor 3X a week and all the pain in my joints has gone away. Now I am wondering if Lipitor is also causing the numbness/pain in my feet. I have a doctor's appointment coming up in a few months. |
