I had hammer toe surgery on the 5th digits of both feet 3 months ago; they still swell; I'm not in shoes yet; and they are unstable and tend to bend upward on carpet, etc. Is a "correction" in order? I visited my surgeon 2 months ago and he seemed to think scar tissue would take care of the instability, but how long does that take? I'm going to seek a 2nd opinion this week, but if you could enlighten me in any way, I would appreciate it. Thank you. |
