I was born with a bone curveature in both feet. The bone is literally curved on the outer side of both feet. I remember my mother taking me to a doctor about it when I was a child, and they gave her a choice of having surgery and living with a brace the rest of my life, or going without surgery and just being able to walk. She opted no surgery for me. This was in the late 1960's. Today, I am having balance problems. I am going to a foot specialist in a few days. Should I be seeing an orthorpedist instead? Is this a common problem? It doesnt help that I am overweight as well, but I am doing something about that too. Any Ideas???
