As you have been more than willing to take your problem to a doctor (four of them in fact), I find it curious that among them you did not consult the one type of doctor, a podiatrist, who actually specializes in problems of the feet such as yours, especially as you complain that the doctors of other specialties whom you chose failed to offer even a diagnosis, even possibly neglecting to do so out of fear of malpractice litigation. (that's rather silly) At the risk of your again feeling that I was abrupt and uncaring, I would suggest that if you had a tooth ache, the first doctor that should come to mind would be a dentist. So, in answer to your quandary as to "just what area of medicine do we address for such (unusual?) symptoms," it would be podiatry.
But as I attempted to explain in adequate detail to the first questioner, forums such as this are not intended to, nor are they proper venues for the making of diagnoses. So, I am sorry, but those who come here with unreasonable expectations will always be disappointed.
