The big toe is made up of two bones. The tendons of muslce lift and move bones, bone do not lift bones, so I don't really know what to make of your question or what you mean by a bone separating. There is obviously some basic misunderstanding about what the doctor told your daughter. Perhaps if you can obtain accurate information and relate it here, I can discuss the generalities of the situation. But, as always, no forum is an appropriate venue for offering definitive opinion on a diagnosis which has yet to be made. |
