I am only 16, and I just started to run. I have noticed this problem before when ice skating (where it got so bad, that I had to sit down after like two minutes) but when I walk or run in running shoes, I get this severe pain on the outer sides of my foot. (so basically left side, left foot, and right side, right foot) and it worsens if I tighten the laces, but if I loosen them, the pain lessons (but does not dissappear) and the shoes slide off my feet. I have tried 3 different types of running shoes and all three of these did the severe pain thing to me. I wear ballet flats during the day and there is no pain when I wear those. I do not have enough money, let alone time, to go around and experiment with differnt shoes until I find one that doesn't kill my feet. Could this maybe be helped with arch supports or something? I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem, well thanks for reading this.
