 Subject: sweaty legs/cold feet

Hi
my husband has a problem with very cold feet all the time.
then he wakes up during the night with his legs sweating badly.
he doesnt like going to the doctor and i am a bit worried.
he is 50years old and quite active and is being treated daily for high cholesterol which we believe he inherited.
can anyone make any suggestions what the problem could be?
