I'm so clumsy and stupid. I fell down the stairs two weeks ago and my mom insisted that because I could still walk (limp) on it, that it *must* not be broken. So I waited until today to go to the doctor. He took one look at my still bruised and lumpy foot and told me to go to the x-ray dept. STAT. After the x-rays he said I had fractured my 5th metatarsal and would get a cam walker. I had waited too long and it hadn't healed at all, so I might require a pin in my foot. I didn't really ask about that, but I'm wondering what exactly this entails? I'm really a baby about these things...
