I am 49 yrs old. All of my life I have had problems with my feet. All of my life I have not been able to stand or walk for extended periods of time without my feet becoming extremely painful. The pain becomes severe after only about an hour and so all of my life I have had to limit the amount of time I spend on my feet. The pain is the same whether my weight is up or down. It began in childhood and has been with me all my life. I don't have hammer toes, bunions, corns, callouses, high arches, or fallen arches. Some days when I have no choice of being on my feet for an extended period of time, when I am finally able to sit down, I feel intense sharp pains that feels like it is coming from my nerves. I would like to know what you think may be causing this and what I can do to eliminate the pain.

Thank you.
