Hi
I am hoping someone has had what i have and could give some advice!
About 2 months ago i got a kick playing a football match. A lump built up on the right ankle (inside right ankle). A left it as was for a while and then visited the physio who informed me that it was encapsulated blood. After a couple of weeks of hot / cold it went down a lot. I t caused me no pain, only inconvenience of a lump.
Anyway about a month ago i climbed a mountain. No issue there. A couple of days after, i went to the gym and ran on the treadmill. The day after this, i got a sharp pain in my right foot along the top of it. The pain went away but ever since my right foot has stayed slightly swollen. It goes up and down but is swollen compared to my left foot.
I attended the doctor and physio. I got an X-Ray thru the doctor and it came up all clear...no break. The physio thought it could be a tendon and treated that, but again the swelling has stayed. The physio now feels that it could be the lump of encapsulated blood stopping proper blood circulation. The lump did move slightly since it has gone down and i do think it could be the problem too as i have no pain. I am waiting for him to get me an appointment with a specialist, but i said i'd post here to get some other opinions / advice
Sorry for the long post and hoping someone can help!
