Hello
I've done gymnastics for 13 years
Every time I go to point my toes very strongly, I get this HORRIBLE pinching pain in the middle of my foot, It feels like someone has took a clamp to my foot and i have to hold my foot in one position for it to go away
This is very frustrating because my feet HAVE to be pointed a lot especially on the bars and floor, and this pain is causing me trouble! It seems to happen in the left foot more so than right but it is common in both.
for example
a few minutes ago i was on my knees with one leg in the air, as I pointed my toes the pain started in the middle of my foot and got so bad!
Does anyone know what causes this and how I can help it? :(

thank you
