Both Hypercare and Drysol, the product which I have found to be effective, contain the same chemical ingredient, although I am not certain as to whether the concentrations are the same in both products. I posted the regimen I recommend with my own patients in my reply to your previous post. Did you run that past your doctor and/or was his regimen similar to mine? At the time Dr. DSW posted a recommendation for an OTC product, Onox, which I have never used. You might give that a try. Of course, all of these products are directed toward mitigating excessive sweating. If that is not the cause of your foot odor problem, they will do no good. If your feet DO sweat excessively, and especially if the sweating problem is not limited to your feet, you might consult a physician about systemic medications or invasive procedures if warranted. |
