I have recently had an extensive amount of dental work done and am concerned about the proximity of this work to the start of my IVF cycle. I expect to start stims at the end of this week and have been to the dentist three times this month (May 14, May 21, May 28); the first visit required X-rays and Novocain, the second and third visit just Novocain.

I wore a lead vest while the X-rays were taken, but is there any danger that they could have affected the follicles that would be used for the IVF cycle?

Also, is it possible that the anesthesia would still be in my bloodstream and hinder the efficacy of the meds and/or cause potential harm to a fetus, if I do get pregnant?

Lastly, I will need to have two permanent crowns inserted in two weeks, which should be just before/after embryo transfer. This will not require X-rays or Novocain, but is there any danger posed by the bonding cement that is used?

I apologize if I am being paranoid, I just want to make sure I am doing everything right!

Thanks in advance :)
