Just wanted to get word out that we as CCC's need to assist our personnel counterparts when we submit school applications/requests for sailors who will graduate from a school with a qualifying SRB NEC.
I am currently attached to the EOD A School, and we have a lot of Sailors coming through here with 36 months of extensions (as is called for in their orders to EOD School), but alot of them do not have OBLISERV TO TRAIN approvals. The personnel folks have to have required OBLISERV called for in their orders to allow members to PCS.
OTT allows members to incur required OBLISERV to execute PCS orders, but also allows the Sailor to reenlist immediately upon graduation without monetary loss. It also locks Sailors in to the current SRB rate for that NEC (i.e. Alot of Sailors missed out on the 90K cap because they came here without OTT).
