Maybe this is a dumb question, but here it goes. I looked at the pistol frame plans/dimensions. It says to use 1x2 lumber. It shows three stacked for the feet thst fit into the holes,, but with a 2 1/2 thickness.
If I cut lumber to 1x2, the three stacked will be 3. If I buy 1x2 furring strips, they are a nominal 0.6, so three are only 1.8 or so, not 2.5.
So are the plans actually correct and accurate? I can cut lumber to make the three-stacked wood at the feet be 2 1/2, for sure
but what is the right thing that will fit when I install it?
Thanks? |
