After several weeks of lurking about, hungry for any information about home inventory, I am ready to make myself known here. My name is Darin Griffith and I am the owner of SEMO Home Inventory. I hope to go public with my company in the next couple months. (I'll be ordering the startup package as soon as possible so get one ready for me Fred!)
I did my first home inventory back in 2003 after purchasing the famous KC startup guide. I found that method too time consuming and unprofessional so I put the pursuit on hold. I operate a video production company so I thought that home inventory would be great as an additional income stream.
Until I discovered this great message board and Fred's software I didn't know how I was going to do the level of work that I demand from myself. But now I am hard at it and almost ready to get things underway officially. My website will be operational in a few days probably so I'll share that when the time is right. I have gained a lot of great information from reading this board, which I did all the way back to the very first message, so I feel like I already know many of you.
Anyhoo, I appreciate the passion that people have here & the openess to share ideas. Thanks for all the great info and I look forward to being an active member here for a long time.
