Hi again,
I have noticed on legalzoom.com and documentation from the state when becoming an LLC you need an agent. I do not understand what this is. I tried researching it on the web but still not making total sense. Can it be my wife or brother? Can I be the agent? Also, some of the requirements are keeping minutes and setting up rules. Can anyone explain this a bit more? I have set up sole proprietor ships before. Much easier, but I want the LLC protection. Any help would be great.
I figured I would ask here before going to the state. They are hard to deal with.
