My Mother in law was born or adopted in March 1923-1924, Kirksville, MO, Adair County. She searched for years, before her death in 2006, to find her biological parents/family. While she was still alive she was in contact with the Adair County Court House and received at least two letters and spoke with them on several occasions. The first letter she received stated that her files were sealed and she would be unable to obtain them. After several phone calls she received another letter stating that they had no information on her or for her. How do we her family go about retrieving information? |
