Yes, having experienced what I believe to be demonic activity in the past, and knowing others who have claimed to as well, I definitely say yes.
The thing to remember is that it is 100 percent faith that provides protection here, and this is why many of the charms work that people suggest. It is not the salt, or holy water, or a cross or even sanctified space or ground. These beings if strong enough can not only ignore them, but cross over them. It is the faith and belief in what you are using that makes these items effective.
I have encountered personally 2 separate types. The above items were not what saved my butt. It was a combination them, having good reliable friends, using a mirror and my beliefs that got me through.
From experience, I can tell you that a moment of doubt, is too much. Never doubt yourself, or your beliefs if confronted with any type of negative entity. This will only feed them and make them stronger.
