This is an old post, but I'm new to the website, so it's new to me :-) I believe all of the above are true. Without a doubt, a house can be haunted. I lived in a haunted house, so I speak from experience. I'm not sure that people can be "haunted" but I do think that people can take spirits with them. Especially someone who may have been involved with the occult. I'm not so sure that an item can be haunted, but I do think that spirits can attach themselves to items. Maybe a piece of furniture, jewelry..anything that held special meaning to them when they were alive. And I do think that land can be haunted. I'm not talking about the places where "glowing eyes have been seen" or anything like that. I think most, if not all of those are rumors that started many years ago, and still linger today. But battlefields, Indian burial grounds etc...yes, I think those places can still carry the sprits of those who died there. |
