I was a camp counselor at a camp in the mountains of North Carolina near Newland. I was on a camp out with about 20 kids who were all sleeping under a large tarp, and myself and the other counselors in hammocks near by. I woke in the middle of the night to see a large mass, about 5-6 feet tall and 3 feet wide... it was like a blob but it was glowing a very bright, whitish green color. The center of it was black though... not see through but black. From this figure was a beam of light that beamed for as far as my eye could see.
The figure did not move about, but I felt an energy coming from it. I knew I wasn't supposed to interact with it. Fearful of scaring my campers, I didn't say anything until the next morning when multiple of my kids came to me and told me they had the same experience... they had the feeling that it was watching them.
It was one of the most odd and frightening experiences of my life... what could that possibly have been?? |
